Gynecologist further explained that risk factors of PID may include; multiple sexual patners, having unprotected sex, being a sexually active woman younger than 25years old,
He also added that symptoms may include pains in your lower abdomen and pelvis, heavy viginal discharge, unpleasant order, pain or bleeding during intercourse, painful or difficult urination
Dr Abubakar however stated that symptoms may not be visible and as such conditions might be detected later if victims have trouble getting pregnant or if victims develop chronic pelvic pain. Thus pregnant mothers should visit their doctor as soon as they notice any persistent symptoms.
