” please quit smoking, if not for yourself but for your children in the cases of genetic mutation”
This plea was made by a nurse at the medical center of the federal polytechnic Bida, Niger state, Mr Musa Aliu during an interview with well being.com in his office recently.
Mr Aliu emphasized that smoking addiction can be transferred to children and that’s why all hands need to be on deck to quit smoking.
He encouraged addicted smokers to visit the hospital for therapy às there is a designed therapy for addicted smokers and if consistently done can make smoking be a thing of the past.
Mr Aliu stressed the dangers of smoking to the body as damage to lungs, pneumonia, asthma and bronchi disease.
” all smokers are liable to die young”, he added.
