The acting medical director of the federal polytechnic Bida, Dr. James Ajari has urged all students of the institution to register for the tertiary institutions social clinic in order to facilitate health workers in attending to them when the need arises.
Dr. Ajari disclose this recently in an interview in the school medical clinic.
He added that, the registration is a yearly exercise to both new and returning students and it is mandated to carry out this medical exercise in the school clinic to confirm their fitness before returning to lectures while returning students are to present evidence of payment.
”The moment students pay their fees in which TISHIP was also incorporated, they only return to their various departments for proper verification and documentation, thereby ignoring medical center and only come when there is an emergency and forcing us to attend to them without any evidence of being legitimate student of the school,” he said.
Ajari further stated that, the school have adequate facilities and capacity on ground to run e-learning in the institution, some of those facilities are the computer system and proper internet network facilities were available.
