Students of FPB urged to register with TSHIP

The Acting Medical Director of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Dr. James Ajari have urged the students of the school to register for the tertiary institutions social clinic in order to facilitate health workers in attending to them when the need arise.
He explained that, the registration is a yearly exercise to both new and returning students are mandated to carry out medical exercise in the school clinic to confirm their fitness.
Dr. Ajari made this known in an interview with newsmen in the school medical clinic recently.
”The moment students pay their fees in which TISHIP was also incorporated, they only return to their various departments for proper verification and documentation thereby ignoring medical center and only come when there is an emergency and forcing us to attend to them without any evidence of being legitimate student of the school,” he said.
However, Ajari stated that the school have adequate facilities and capacity on ground to run e-learning in the institution, some of those facilities are the computer system and proper internet network facilities were available.
